Kat & Dave- Whistler Wedding Photography

You may remember Kat and Dave from earlier this year, they have a cute love story that crosses the ocean. They decided that the best place for their wedding would be in Whistler since Kat’s family was coming in from overseas, they would get to see both Vancouver and Whistler. Nicklaus North Golf Course was a perfect fit, beautiful view and breathtaking scenery! Their day turned out to be one of the hottest day of the summer! The day was super hot, but absolutely gorgeous, and Kat and Dave had no problem trekking all over the course to get the perfect photos. We had a blast with them, and their wedding party, and all the wonderful guests that were there to share in their special day.

Vancouver Wedding Fair 2012

Its that time of year again!! Engagement rings are flying out of stores, and onto fingers…. Dresses are being tried on, over and over again… And all the planning starts coming together! This weekend is the 33rd annual Vancouver Wedding Fair, and once again Boutique Studios is super excited to be a part of it! Come down to the Westin Bayshore and visit us at our booth! There will be lots of different things to see, and make sure you stop by and enter your name into the fabulous contest that we are throwing. One lucky winner will win a 1 hour boudoir shoot with Boutique Studios, as well as a gift certificate to Goldfish restaurant, and 2 tickets to the Winnipeg Ballet! Bridal Creative Part 2-Vancouver Wedding Photography

We met Brianna and Brett when we attended the Vancouver Wedding Fair. They have booked Boutique Studios for their 2012 summer wedding at Furry Creek Golf Course, and we couldn’t be more excited for them! Paul and Melissa- Vancouver (Surprise) Engagement Photography

We love a good love story. And nothing melts our hearts more then when someone wants to make an amazing love story. Paul contacted us to see if Boutique Studios would be interested in going to Bowen Island to photograph, and take a video of himself proposing to his love, Melissa. His planning was a few months in the making, he actually wrote a song to sing to Melissa, as well as had a some help in the way of friends holding up will you marry me signs. Kari was a super ninja hiding behind them on the ferry taking photos, and then at the restaurant where they had had their first date 2 years before. The night was magical and romantic, and we can’t wait to hear what comes next for these two!

Bridal Creative-Vancouver Wedding Photography

Obviously nothing goes better with weddings then photography (obviously!), but sometimes you might also need to think of the dress, the makeup, the jewelry, and all that other fun stuff! We teamed up with our partners in crime, Mink Makeup and Hair, to do a fun creative with beautiful dresses and hair accessories from Pure Magnolia and jewelry provided by House of Bun. We had a lot of fun in the studio that day, taking photographs of all the beautiful girls and wished we could play dress up too! A big thank you to everyone involved on a super fun day!

Summertime is a busy time for most people in Vancouver. Take Kat and Dave for example, we actually photographed their wedding this past weekend at the beautiful Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler (photos soon!), but due to vacations for all of us, crazy Vancouver weather, we only shot their engagement photos not too long ago. They are such a lovely couple with such a neat story, she was visiting from the UK, he ran a tour bus company here in Vancouver, and the rest is history! We can’t wait to share their wedding photos, but for now take a look at how cute their love is!

Leigh and Danny-Vancouver Engagement Photography

At Boutique Studios, we love love. And love photographing couples who radiate the love that they have for each other. Leigh and Danny were defiantly one of those couples. We met up with them one beautiful day down at Granville Island, and wandered around in the sunshine. They were totally up for getting their photo taken anywhere, including the top of a grassy hill that they love to go and sit on and watch the world go by. We are so excited for their wedding at UBC Golf Course in the beginning of October, and can’t wait to see more of their love!
